A paid call buys one response for that URL. Search (0.02 USDC) returns matching briefs or, with no query, the search contract. GET /mcp/start is a free briefing. Kind lists (0.01 USDC) return slugs, aliases, complexity, and atomicType for one kind. Specs (0.02 USDC) return the glossary body for one term. The free start briefing and kinds table are not billed.

Payment is x402 v2 exact scheme in USDC on Base. A settled x402 call is a Pro grant: Pro slugs and Pro fields. Max slugs and Max fields need a Max account. A Foundations account and credits are an alternative to x402 on the HTTP glossary routes. POST /mcp is account-only.
